Check if you need an eVisa to travel to Turkey

Once the eVisa has been obtained, it is valid for a period of six months with a single stay up to 90 days. The eVisa online application does not qualify for a visa. Your application may be accepted or rejected by the Airport Authority and there is no refund.

When you land in Turkey you are possibly required to provide the following documents:

1. Explaining of eVisa

An eVisa is an official document permitting entry into and travel within Turkey.

The eVisa is an alternative to visas issued at Turkish missions and at the ports of entry. Applicants obtain their visas electronically after entering required information and making payments by a credit or debit card (Mastercard, Visa or UnionPay). The eVisa will be given on the e-mail once the eVisa has been successfully granted. As it's an electronic Visa, Passport control officers at ports of entry can verify your e-Visa on their system. However, you are advised to keep your eVisa with you either as a soft copy (tablet PC, smart phone, etc.) or as a hard copy in case of any failure on their system. As in the case of other visas, respective Turkish officials at the ports of entry reserves the right to deny entry into Turkey to a holder of an eVisa without any explanation.
